Signs and Symptoms of PCOS can include: disrupted menstrual cycles (they might be irregular, very light or missed altogether), enlarged ovaries or ovaries with cysts (observed on an ultrasound), acne, excess body hair, on the face, chest, stomach and back (hirsutism), unwanted weight gain, often around teh middle, hair thinning on the scalp, skin tags, dark patches of skin on the neck or armpits (Acanthosis nigricans), as well as infertility and issues with insulin resistance.
